ABOUT
THE LEMONED STORY
LemonEd began in 2021, but its real origins trace back to a long journey of detours, discoveries, and one life-changing realisation: doing well is not the same as doing what fits you.
I followed the traditional path — engineering at Purdue, early corporate roles, admissions to top universities, leadership programs, and multiple entrepreneurial ventures. On paper, everything looked “right.” But internally, I often felt a familiar dissonance: I was achieving, but not fully aligned.
Over time, one pattern became impossible to ignore.
The moments that energised me most were never about titles, businesses, or external milestones. They were the conversations. Helping someone recognise their strengths. Clarifying a difficult career decision. Supporting a professional navigating uncertainty. Guiding an MBA applicant through self-doubt and ambition. Watching someone begin to see themselves more clearly.
Those moments lit me up in a way no job description ever had.
That eventually led to a deeper realisation: I didn’t want to build large teams or run scaled operations for the sake of growth. I wanted to work directly with people — thoughtfully, honestly, and with depth — helping them build careers and professional identities that genuinely fit who they are.
LemonEd was born from that clarity.
Today, LemonEd is intentionally independent and boutique. Every client works directly with me — no batching, no outsourcing, and no generic playbooks. My work sits at the intersection of MBA admissions, career coaching, and professional development, blending strategic thinking with intuition, empathy, and lived experience. Technology and AI enhance the process, but judgment, perspective, and human understanding remain at the centre of it.
LemonEd exists for one purpose:
to help people make clearer decisions, avoid unnecessary detours, and build careers that feel both successful and authentic.
This is the guidance I wish I had earlier.
Now, it is the guidance I offer — personally, fully, and with conviction.
MISSION STATEMENT & CORE VALUES
Mission
To empower people to build careers and professional identities that genuinely fit who they are through strategic clarity, personalised guidance, and thoughtful reflection.
Values
1. Authentic Personalisation
Every person deserves guidance shaped around who they truly are. No templates, no shortcuts—only coaching that honours individuality, depth, and lived experience.
2. Clarity Through Reflection & Structure
Complex decisions become easier when framed through narratives, metaphors, and organised thinking. LemonEd translates confusion into clarity through meaningful storytelling and structured reflection.
3. Depth Over Volume
Transformation requires attention. By working with a focused number of clients, LemonEd ensures every engagement is deep, thoughtful, and designed to create real, lasting impact.
4. Excellence Rooted in Empathy
High standards meet genuine care. The work goes beyond what is required because the intention is to support, empower, and uplift—not to pressure.
5. Curiosity as a Way of Life
Learning never stops. Continuous self-reflection, reading, and exploration fuel both the craft and the coaching experience, ensuring clients benefit from fresh perspectives and evolving insight.
6. Ethical Innovation
Technology and AI are embraced with integrity—used to enhance learning, not replace it. Tools support the human process, but judgment and empathy lead it.
7. Professional, Never Pretentious
Communication is clear. Delivery is reliable. The experience is polished yet warm—professionalism without ego, and expertise without intimidation.
